         I live in a small village culled Henfield - there are about 500 people here. I love it because it’s quiet and life is slow and easy. You never have to queue in shops or banks. The village is clean - people look after it and don’t throw their rubbish in the streets. The air is also clean because there is not much heavy traffic. It’s much more friendly here them in Cl city. Everyone knows everyone and if someone has a problem, there are always people who can help.
         There aren't many things I don’t like about Henfield. One thirty is thilt there's not much to do in the everning - we haven’t got any cinemas or theatres. Another problem is that people always talk about each other tind everyone knows what everyone else is doing. But I still prefer the village life to life in a big city.

3. How did the children help improve the lifestyle in the village when they finished college or technical high school? They introduced new farming methods which resulted in bumper crops. They also helped to grow cash crops for export.
4.What did an old farmer say about the effect of the knowledge the young people brought home? He said their lives had changed a lot thanks to the knowledge their children brought home from technical high schools or colleges.
5. What exactly did he tell his grandchildren? He told his grandchildren, “Study harder so that you can even do more for the village than your parents did”.

        In our modern society, newspapers play a vital role in our daily life. Newspapers bring us a lot of conveniences including their usefulness and importance.
        Newspapers is the main source of detailed information about what is going on around us and in the world. They also broaden our knowledge, they help us to learn about other countries and peoples. They help us daily in shopping through announcements and advertisements in markets. Moreover, newspapers can also entertain us with stories, comics. ...etc... And another importance of newspapers in free countries is they serve not only as a means of prompting understanding between peoples in the world but also of protecting people from being oppressed.
            In general, however, newspapers should he read with caution, for its capacity to do harm is great, that is they exert a profound influence on the minds of their readers.
